The Fervent, Effectual Prayer of the Righteous Accomplishes Much!

As I spend time in prayer asking the Lord what topic He would like me to write about,

Recently, the Holy Spirit has spoken this scripture into my spirit over and over and over again:

"The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear-minded and self controlled so that you can pray. (1 Peter 4:7)

The Lord is calling His people to pray.

I believe we are now in the time that the bible calls "the beginning of sorrows".

The things we see happening are "the beginning of birth pains".

In the natural, once the birth pains begin, they don't stop until the baby is born.

Jesus is telling us that when we see these things begin (Luke 21 and Matthew 24) they will not stop until He returns.

In the midst of this, He tells us Not to Fear, To be "Clear Minded" and to be "Self Controlled" so we can PRAY!

This is such a key instruction from the Lord at such a time as this when we see fear taking place all around us.

Allowing fear to come in, and worse- agreeing with it, puts us in a prayer position of desperation rather than authority.

When we become aware of that happening, simply repent, regroup, recollect ourselves, and regather- back into the spirit!

Prayer is one of the weapons of our spiritual warfare against the enemy.

It is one of the most powerful weapons we have been given to use against the forces of darkness.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds" (2 Cor 10),

but we are not going to be able to pray effectively, and pray in faith, if our hearts are caught up in fear and anxiety.

We need to stay informed, but can't lose control and let our emotions rule. We must stand in faith.

Above all, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 3:6)

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Lord tells us the solution when a land (nation) needs healing:

"If MY people, which are called by My name (Christians), shall humble themselves, PRAY, and seek My face,

and turn away from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven, and I will heal their land."

We need to pray, and we need to repent on behalf of sin in our own life, sin in the church, and sin in the nation.

Prayer is the key.

Beyond repenting, and seeking God's face to ask His instructions in pray, we also need to take authority and bind and loose.

It is OUR JOB to decree, declare and enforce His Word on this earth

so that He can then perform it.

We are invited to put the Lord in remembrance of His Word (Is 43:26).

This doesn't mean He has forgotten it, it means that as we speak the Word, heaven and earth can come into agreement.

Jesus speaking, said this: "I tell you the truth: Whatever YOU bind (forbid) on earth will be bound in heaven.

And whatever YOU loose (release) on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 18:18)

Heaven Is Willing, Ready and Able To Do It's Part.

Lets Do Our Part In the Earth.

Use your blood bought ability to Bind (forbid, arrest) the evil spirit of death at work behind this epidemic

and to loose (release) healing, and resurrection life.

Release warring angels.

Release unity between federal and state level leadership.

Release provisions for those who need equipment and supplies.

Release wisdom where there is confusion and chaos.

Again, I tell you that if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask for,

it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven" (Matthew 18: 19)

So My Sister, call someone with like faith, and come into agreement in prayer today!

We can ask the Lord to bring relevant scriptures to mind and He will be faithful to do so.

We find another powerful promise given to believers in Matthew 18:19:

"Again, I say unto you, that if TWO OF YOU SHALL AGREE ON EARTH regarding anything they ask for,

it will be done for them by my Father in Heaven.

This is speaking of agreeing in prayer on anything the Word of God promises and provides.                                                 James chapter 4, vs 2 says that we don't have because we don't ask God.

So regardless of how long the storm lasts, just keep praying.

"The effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous avails (accomplishes) much! (James 5:16)

Stay in your  "prayer closet" as much as possible. Keep entering in. Every prayer matters! This is not the time to become weary.

--------------

When the enemy comes in like a flood (and he has...) the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him. (Is 59:19)

The Lord is my refuge, and my fortress. My God in whom I will trust.

Surely, He will save you from the fowlers snare,

and save you from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you, and under His wings you will find refuge and protection.

His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You will not fear the terror of night, the arrow (bullets) that fly by day,

you will not fear the pestilence that stalks (moves around) in darkness,

nor the plague that destroys at midday.

No plague will come near our dwelling.

He will command His angels concerning you, command them to guard you in all of your ways.

He will call upon me and I will answer Him. I will be with Him in trouble.  (Psalm 91)

"The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them"  (Psalm 34:7)

"Praise the Lord oh my Soul. All my innermost being, praise His Name.

Remember all His benefits"

He forgives all our sins (Savior), He heals all our diseases (Healer),

He redeems our life from the pit (Redeemer). Psalm 103:1

The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The Righteous Run To it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10)

For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling. He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle

and set me high upon a rock (out of harms way).  (Psalm 27:5)

Oh God, you are my hiding place. You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. (Ps 32:7)

May your unfailing love rest upon us  O Lord, even as we put our hope in You. (Psalm 33:22)

For those who have received their heavenly prayer language, pray in tongues. Make war in tongues.

When you don't know what else to pray, simply pray in tongues.

When you pray in tongues, pray in the Spirit - you are praying God's perfect will. This is powerful prayer.

"The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for,

but the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us, with groans (utterances) that words cannot express.

And He who searches our hearts (the Lord), knows that mind of the Holy Spirit,

because the Holy Spirit intercedes for the saints (the believers) in accordance with God's will. (Romans 8: 26-27)

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power.

Put on the full armor of God so you can stand against the devil's schemes and evil strategies.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood (people)

but against the rulers, authorities and powers of this dark world, and against the demonic forces of evil......

pick up the Shield of Faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one,

and take the Sword of the Spirit - which is the WORD OF GOD.

And PRAY in the Holy Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests.

(Ephesians 6: 10, 12, 16-18)

Keep praying, keep pressing through. Keep praising God For bringing the needed breakthrough and victory.

Keep praying for life, for this plague to end, for healing, for protection, for provision, and for comfort for those who are grieving.

Pray for mercy.

Pray that many will turn to the Lord.

You Are NEVER Alone in Prayer!

You Are NEVER Without The Holy Spirit to Intercede., Lead, Guide and Direct.

You Are NEVER Without the Ability to Call Those Things That Are Not.. As Though They Are!

All of heaving is standing by to carry out His instructions in response to your prayers !

Blessings,

Susan
